Tesco EC Fan energy project
400 down and none to go!
With over 400 central plant systems (packs) retrofitted to the new Emerson iPro energy saving condenser fan controller, we’ve finally reached the end of another rewarding project. The year long project took us from Cornwall to Birmingham; enduring some of the finest and worst weather southern England had to offer!
Supporting Emerson Climate technologies since 2010, Pensa Cooling delivered refrigeration and electrical services , to over 100 Tesco supermarket stores during the retrofit process.
Our extensive experience within supermarket refrigeration systems ensured all pack systems across the Tesco estate were optimally installed and commissioned for long term energy saving

Marks & Spencer Plate Heater Exchanger ProjectWe’ve just completed an installation of plate heat exchangers to various M&S stores across the UK. This project involved extensive alteration and modification to existing live systems, including significant planning to ensure the new PHE’s would deliver the desired energy savings.
The primary use for the heat exchangers is to supply hot water to fan coil units located on top of the multi-deck chiller cabinets, which in turn blows warm air from beneath the cabinet to keep the customers feet warm. THE BENEFITS:- A constant flow of hot water to the sales floor.
- Free heat from the existing refrigeration plant and removal of costly electric heaters.
